SILMO & eyebizz: We’re making ourselves strong for talented newcomers
Join now and win: Many eyewear designers, who are very successful all over the world today, once started small. They had innovative and revolutionary ideas and the perseverance and courage to introduce them to the market. However, the path was not always easy and the conditions to establish yourself in the industry were often difficult. One way to become better known and network is to participate in trade fairs that bring together key industry players. Silmo Paris, the international trade fair for ophthalmic optics, shows every year newcomers side by side with proven international brands – in 2018 around 230 of 965 companies exhibited for the first time.
Over the years, the fair has accompanied many eyewear designers, creative minds and companies and followed their development. SILMO attaches great importance to welcoming newcomers to Paris and supporting them in presenting themselves internationally.
For the upcoming edition of SILMO Paris from 27 – 30 September 2019, SILMO and eyebizz have set themselves something special with the Hashtag Award:
We are looking for international young companies – maximum three years old – and start-ups that offer new and innovative products and solutions. Introduce yourself and submit your portfolio. The prize is a free stand at SILMO Paris. All participants will be invited to the exclusive gala evening, the “SILMO D’OR” and will of course receive the full media presence of eyebizz and Silmo Paris in advance – online, in social media and on the websites. A full media package, with a value of approx. 10.000 €.
